I was born on the 10th of April in Rotterdam. I grew up in and around Barendrecht. During my life I've always been fascinated by motion pictures, Design and Psychology. I started studying at Wageningen University where I studied "Business and Consumer Studies" for 1,5 years. After those years, I realized this wasn't for me and I felt the need for a more practical education. When I found out about UXD (User Experience Design), it really got me excited about it. I've always wanted to do something with Design, Communication and Psychology and UXD was right up that alley. I applied to the course and I graduated three years later. I'm very happy with the choice I made, as UXD allowed me to explore new territories.
I live together with my Italian girlfriend now and love having dinner together, however pasta is starting to repeat itself slowly... Luckily I still have enough Hagelslag in the kitchen to compensate!
In this portfolio you will find both UX projects I have worked on, as well as videos I created as content for a diverse set of clients.
I think the most important task and skill we humans have, is to innovate. Innovation is what helps us overcome our major issues. Innovation is what drives us and what inspires us. Innovation should be everywhere and yet it is not. Industries are sometimes afraid to innovate and rightfully so. But when done right, innovation can even help those industries come along.
